Fuck C-lo
I always lose money when i gamble....
new piston rings came in replacing the last ones i broke, bought $30 worth of piston ring compressors, none of which worked, so i ended up doing all of em by hand, and returning all the tools. Hand built definitely feels good.
Both top ends fully in, just need to put the cams back on the chain, then i can mock up my new exhausts with the rebuilt motors before I hook everything back up! Need to weld the tabs and mounts, gonna change some stuff too with the chopper.

Carbonium
Well since I'm waiting for the new piston rings, might as well clean up the carbon off the valve stems. tons of build up on both, looking nasty
All clean after diligent work with the wire brush
New head gasket is looking proper!
Covered up until the new rings arrive.......
Engine work
Pulled both engines out of the garage the other day, after scraping off all the gaskets I had to slosh around some gasoline to get all the little bits of random crap out of there that might've slipped by the towels
All clean, ready for the pistons and cylinders
everythings looking clean inside so the base gasket went on
Pistons are in, rings are on. everything was all good until the last ring (number 12 of 12) on the last piston. I was doing em by hand, compressing without a ring compressor of any sort, and on the last ring the weight of the cylinder exploded the oil piston ring. soooo bummed, $30 mistake, let alone all the hunting and searching I had to do to find the god damn thing on ebay, so now its on hold till the parts arrive.
1st engine all good
