Exhaust

started to mock up some exhaust yesterday

so hard to picture what it will look like back together, bike looks weird naked. also we will see how much i'll be able to turn cause i will be low....

This week

Had to work a bunch this week, but whenever i have to work the day off seems to be very productive. Got the new welder going this week, set up a table and grinder zone in the corner

I always lose money when i gamble....

new piston rings came in replacing the last ones i broke, bought $30 worth of piston ring compressors, none of which worked, so i ended up doing all of em by hand, and returning all the tools. Hand built definitely feels good.

Both top ends fully in, just need to put the cams back on the chain, then i can mock up my new exhausts with the rebuilt motors before I hook everything back up! Need to weld the tabs and mounts, gonna change some stuff too with the chopper.

Well since I'm waiting for the new piston rings, might as well clean up the carbon off the valve stems. tons of build up on both, looking nasty
