Good day today

Got my Gasket sets in the mail for the KZ's, gonna finish the rebuilds hopefully soon.

Went with Mikey and Brownlee to check out this Ironhead we found on Craigs, talked the guy down a bunch, and brought the sucker home and Mikey even got to ride his new bike around the block a couple times. Loud as shit!

Started to work on my engines a bit while brownlee and mikey messed around in the garage. this is the base gasket on my cylinder head, old dried up shitty gaskets are a pain in the ass to get off, two motors worth.

Started to get it looking pretty good with a steel brush, trying not to gouge too much

New build

So after watching Cycles South a couple times, I really wanna do something that is like a dirt tracker out of my new kz750. I ordered a bunch of parts and just got some dual sport tires, found some parts at Z1enterprises.com. Stuff is really cheap on there if you guys need parts.

Barn find basically, bike had 1 original owner that I bought from, thing was caked in grime

Dust all over, was last ridden in 1993

Got it all stripped down and gonna start the frame modifications. Gonna really need a good tank cause it will pretty much make the bike, so let me know if anyone has any to sell.

The Chucks new whip!

The Chuck called me about 12:15 today and wanted me to help him go check out a bike. The lady who owned it said that they had someone looking at it at 1 so we hauled ass down there in fear of it being sold when we get there.


The ad said the bike was a shovel, turns out it's definitely a sportster but the primary cover looks like a shovel head one. Weird shit. Bike is sick though he's psyched!



It's got some goofy looking stuff on it but the chuck is gonna make it sick I'm sure!

The Chucks Potential New Project

Was over at shred shed today and Jono said the dude next door just started a Harley shop and was looking to sell a '72 Ironhead basket case. Rad dude, paralyzed from the waste down. Rides the shit out of a new Harley trike bored out to 108 cubic inch! Uses snowboard bidings to hold his feet in place and rides it like a mad man! Apparently he does wheelies and shit on it!
Gotta get a photo of that going down!

Get back to the garage and find my bike all layed out on the floor. It was on the lift when I left there last night (about a foot off the ground) must have fallen off on it's own. Bent the bars, no big deal really. Just hurt ego, haha. Lesson learned, do not leave shit on the lift un attended.

Awesome day yesterday, Me and Brownlee went over to the dude barn and stole my brothers XS motor to start up the rebuild process. We even posted it on craigslist to see if he would find it on there, Hutto blew it by posting a photo of us on instagram doing it (new iphone guy amateur move)

Blow piston rings means too low compression to work, now he needs new pistons, some rings, a bore and a hone and we are back in biz. still need to check valve seating and seals

Bottom end should be good still so we are leaving as is for now
